We specialise in helping people, particularly those who are unemployed, either gain or use existing skills to create distinctive upcycled products that would either blot the landscape or find themselves in landfill.

Elmley is the largest nature reserve in the South East and is home to some of England’s rarest birds, plant and animals and it’s on Sheppey!

Elmley is a rare tranquil wilderness, with vast soul-stirring skies and amazing wildlife. It’s somewhere to stop, relax and enjoy nature.

Elmley is open to the Public every day, except Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in summer. A £5 contribution per car is suggested.

You can spend the night here in one of our fantastic shepherd’s huts – see Sheepey’s most spectacular dawn! We also run guided tours and photography workshops.
